Every year since 2008, I answer this certain year-end survey. Last year’s survey is missing because I had it posted in my now-defunct blog in Blogspot. This year, I’m doing this survey back on Tumblr. So, let’s begin!
What did you do in 2011 that you’d never done before?
- Climb to the summit of the 3rd highest mountain in the Philippines.
- Write and finish my thesis.
- Passed STAT1.
- Graduate from college (finally!)
- Introduce the boyfriend to the family.
- Enjoy the privileges of being an alumni member of my org.
- Tutor Japanese students online.
- See Maroon 5 live in concert!
- Searching for and having my first real job.
- Earn money.
- Open my own bank account.
- Spend my anniversary with the boyfriend.
- Travel to Guimaras, Iloilo, Bacolod and Palawan.
- Go snorkeling.
- Buy an expensive gadget using my own hard-earned salary.
Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
- I honestly don’t remember. Since I assume the role of a responsible member of society, I’ll attempt to make another set of resolutions for 2012. Again, wish me luck.
Did anyone close to you give birth?
- Hmm, no. But a lot of my schoolmates did.

- Philippines (still, ugh).
What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
- Lots of money

What was your biggest achievement of the year?
- Graduating. I was supposed to graduate in 2010 but I got extended. So in the end, I was really really desperate to finish everything and get the hell out of my university.
What was your biggest failure?
- Well, nothing, really. I consider 2011 as one of my better years.
Did you suffer any illness or injury?
- None, except for this ugly (but faded) scar that I have on my arm. Got this when I splashed boiling oil all over my arm. It was painful as fuck.
What was the best thing you bought?
- Lots of books and my new BlackBerry!

- The boyfriend, the batchmates, the co-workers, the family.
